Full or part management: you choose how much to hand over

Let a lettings team run the property for you, or pick just the jobs you'd rather not do.

Full management

Full management means the agency runs the let from start to finish. You receive the rent and a monthly statement; they deal with everything else.

  • Finding, referencing and checking the right to rent of new tenants
  • Tenancy agreements, deposit registration and move-in paperwork
  • Collecting rent and chasing any arrears
  • Arranging repairs with trusted local tradespeople
  • Gas safety, electrical checks and other safety requirements on time
  • Regular inspections with written reports
  • Check-outs, deposit returns and re-letting

Full management suits landlords who don't live near the property, own several homes, or simply don't want calls about boilers on a Sunday.

Part management

Part management is for landlords who are happy to do some of the work but not all of it. You choose the services you want and pay only for those. Common combinations are:

  • Tenant find plus rent collection
  • Rent collection plus regular inspections
  • Compliance and safety certificates only
  • Repairs and maintenance only

You can move from part to full management later if you want to step back further.

Not sure which level suits you? Our guide full management, part management or tenant find compares them side by side.
